Can we get an “AMEN”?
News flash! Interest rates have reduced and are slated to continue to soften through year end. If you have been on the fence regarding a new home purchase or making a move in general, consider reaching out to your trusted lender to get an updated preapproval letter. In the event you are cash, and considering liquidating funds to purchase, reach out to your financial advisor today for advice and timing. The market is ever changing, and we want to encourage you to stay in front of the curve. Hop off that fence and see where you stand with current market interest rates or get an upfront understanding of what your liquidation scenario looks like. Want to BUY a HOUSE? Call us today.
Considering a Multigenerational Residence?
Contouring with the market and economic change is of utmost importance in relationship to achieving your real estate goals! Families are encouraging members to invest, get a ceiling on pricing, diversify their investments, and think outside of the box. There is much conversation around the topic of multigenerational homes, offering numerous opportunities. If you’ve considered investing with family members in a collaborative effort to retain and gain generational wealth, you are not alone. I’m encouraging you to research your preferred jurisdiction for the current and upcoming accessory dwelling unit (ADU) and detached accessory dwelling unit (DADU) options. There are new construction builders out there, that are building homes to suit. If you would like to discuss this further, please call me.
Buyer Representation Agreements & Upcoming Forms Changes
Establish your trusted real estate broker/agent as a top priority when considering buying a home. A seller is required to sign a listing agreement defining the terms of the listing, so a buyer is now required to sign a buyer’s representation agreement outlining agency relationship and compensation. We are encouraging you to get your buyer representation agreement in place prior to shopping for a home. This will set you up to succeed and properly define your budget. In addition, we have numerous upcoming form changes that will affect a purchase and sales agreement. We are here for you and ready to help you navigate in an ever-changing real estate market.
